Swim Suite vs Splash: The Short Answer

Splash handles a club's competitions, and Swim Suite handles its training. Splash Team Manager and Meet Manager take care of entries, meets, results and rankings; Swim Suite takes care of the season plan, training groups, attendance, the swimmer's own app and video analysis.

For most European competitive clubs this is not a choice between the two. Splash is often part of how the national federation runs competitions, so clubs keep it, and the open question is what they use for the training week. Details below were checked in October 2026; confirm current licensing with your federation or Splash.

What Splash Is Built For

Splash is swimming competition software connected to the SwimRankings.net results and rankings system, and it is the standard meet tool in many European countries. It comes as two Windows programs with distinct roles.

Splash Meet Manager is for the organising club. The meet is set up on the SwimRankings calendar, then Meet Manager takes entries, seeds heats, runs the meet and produces programmes and result reports, with live results available to parents through the SplashMe app.

Splash Team Manager is for the participating club. It holds the club's swimmers and their best times, exports entries to the organiser and imports results afterwards, so a club's competition history builds up season after season.

What Swim Suite Is Built For

Swim Suite is coaching software for competitive clubs, built for the weeks between competitions. It is three connected apps in one club account, used by the head coach, group coaches, swimmers and parents.

Swim Suite holds the season plan from macro cycles down to the single set, with AI-assisted set design, training groups and roles, attendance and weekly load compared against the plan, and competitions placed in the season with target and qualifying times. Swim Forge gives swimmers the day's session and the coach's targets, and Swim Analyzer measures starts, breakouts, stroke rate and stroke length from phone video on the pool deck.

Licensing and Pricing Compared

Splash is licensed per club, and in some countries, Belgium among them, the club requests its licence through the national federation. Once a club holds a licence it can install the software on several computers. Meet Manager also expects Microsoft Word or Excel for programmes and reports.

Swim Suite is a monthly plan by coaches and swimmers: €40 for one coach and ten swimmers, €80 for up to three coaches and 30 swimmers, and €140 for up to 20 coaches and 200 swimmers, with a 14-day free trial and no card. A club with 120 swimmers and five coaches pays €140 a month, about €1.17 per swimmer. See the pricing page.

How European Clubs Use Splash and Swim Suite Together

Most clubs that adopt Swim Suite keep Splash exactly as it is, because the federation, other clubs and meet organisers all depend on it. The two systems hold different information, so nothing has to be entered twice.

The split follows the people. The club's competition secretary works in Splash Team Manager, entering swimmers and importing results. The coaches work in Swim Suite, planning the season backwards from the championship meets that Splash will later run. Swimmers see their sessions in Swim Forge during the week and their results in SplashMe at the weekend.

Which Should Your Club Choose?

If your federation runs competitions through Splash, keep Splash; that decision belongs to the competition system you swim in. The question for the club is what the coaches use for everything else.

If season plans live in one spreadsheet per coach, attendance is kept on paper and the training history leaves with the coach, the coaching layer is the gap Swim Suite fills. Our guide to the five types of swim software explains where each kind of system fits, and the swim club management software guide lists the questions to ask before choosing.

FAQ

These are the questions European clubs ask most often when they compare Splash with Swim Suite for the first time, each answered briefly and plainly below.

Is Swim Suite a Splash Team Manager alternative?

No. Swim Suite does not handle entries, meets, official results or SwimRankings, so it does not replace Splash Team Manager or Meet Manager. It covers the training side that Splash is not built for.

Can Splash Team Manager plan training?

Splash Team Manager is built around swimmers, best times, entries and results rather than periodised training plans. Clubs that want season planning, weekly load and a swimmer app connected to the plan add a coaching system alongside it.

Does Swim Suite run on a Mac?

Yes. Swim Suite runs in the web browser on any computer, and Swim Forge and Swim Analyzer run on iOS and Android, so coaches do not need Windows to use it.
